Armenia schedule for Iranian film ‘Confiscation’ wraps

With the shoot of Iranian film ‘Confiscation’ drawing to a close in Armenia, the film unit is set to record the rest of the scenes in Tehran.

With Armenian schedule of ‘Confiscation’ by Iran actor-turned-director Mehran Ahmadi wrapping up, the film unit is set to shoot the rest of the scenes in Tehran.

A media report said Friday the shooting schedule for ‘Confiscation’ in Armenia is over and the last scenes were captured in the presence of the Iranian ambassador to this country.

Hossein Kazemi is an actor in the film 'Confiscation' to join the cast during filming sessions in Tehran, the report added.

Cinematography of the Armenian scenes of the pic continued over the past month.

Ahmadi thanked the Iranian Embassy for supporting the film in Armenia, saying: "The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan accompanied us from the early days of the film’s production stage.”

The embassy helped us a lot along the way by getting various permits and finding best locations, among other favours, the director notes.

For his part, Sajjadi, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, said that the artists are cultural ambassadors of the Islamic Republic in other countries, adding they “play an important role in advancing public diplomacy.”
